I Miss My Daughter and My Grand Daughter Boo

Hi Everyone,

My daughter and my youngest Grandchild left last week for Port Angeles, Washinton so that our family and friends could see the baby.. I did not think I would worry or miss them the way I do... Sophia, nickname Boo, is 6 months old and growing by the minute.. I wonder how much bigger Boo will look like when they get home.. I miss her and my daughter too.. I miss Alisha and I am hoping they will both be ready to come home..

Kelly was promoted to Head Cook for the whole Coast Guard a couple days ago.. I am so proud of him as he really has worked hard there and to be promoted after 2 months to the top position is awesome..

We are getting ready for Christmas, buying the Grandkids presents.. I think I am going to have a wonderful Christmas this year.. I can't wait..

Creamy Lemon Pie

I don't know why, but I have been craving sweets for a week or so.. I found this recipe online, and I love lemon anything.. It looks so yummy to me.. I thought that I would share it with all of you...

Creamy Lemon Pie
Makes 8 servings

1 3/4 cups cold milk 2 packages (4 ounce size) Vanilla Instant Pudding & Pie Filling 1 can (6 ounces) Frozen Lemonade Concentrate, thawed 1 tub (8 ounces) Whipped topping, thawed A Graham Cracker Crust Lemon Slices (optional)

Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk for 30 seconds. Add lemonade concentrate. Beat with wire whisk for 30 seconds. Mixture will be thick. Immediately stir in whipped topping. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.

November 19th & We Have Snow

Hi everyone,

Yes, November 19th and it is snowing really hard outside.. It is so beautiful to watch the big flakes coming down.. It is 29 Degree's and windy.. I have to admit, I don't like going out in it.. It is really icy below the snow and I have already fallen once... Our driveway is a big steep road, and I was going to get the mail the other day.. Everything was going well, and I was almost to the mailbox and down I went.. Lol.. I feel on my left side, hit my tail bone first and then the small of my back and to the left hand.. So there I am, all fours up in the air, sliding to the road.... I know it had to be funny but I did not feel like laughing.. There were 3 guys working on the Apt. next to us and they all started laughing.. I got up and was trying to figure out if I was totaled.. The bruise on my elbow is gone now, but I still have one on my left butt cheek.. Hurts like heck to sit down.. Rof..

I am off to see my grand daughter do her Ballet Class.. She is just too cute.. Last night I took my grand son to Boy Scouts and we went to the local Police Dept.. I have to admit, it was really interesting.. They let the kids do almost everything except going in the jail cell.. My favorite part was the Kanine Dog.. I have never seen anything like it.. Any how, I am done here.. Talk at you some time soon..

I Am Here

Guess who???

Yuppers, it is me.. I am in Alaska and so happy to be here..

I have moved into Kelly and my's apt.. It is not really big, but it is cozy, clean, and really new like.. We have new painted off white walls, new medium beige carpet, pretty flooring in the entrance way and the bathroom that is 2 tone beige with a pretty light teal green in it... We have cable, internet and phone.. We don't have a tv yet, so we are hooking it up to our computers.. lol..

Some one has taken good care of this place.. We only have room for our table in the kitchen/entry way, and a tv, bed and closet in the bedroom... Plus the bathroom is off the bedroom.. It is a lot like the bungalow I lived in in Maui, Hawaii... I have seen my grandbabies almost everyday, and they already know who grandma is.. Don't mean to cut this short, but have things I need to do..

Welcome To My Blog

Hello everyone..

I have had this site for quite sometime, and totally forgot about it until my friend Kimmi told me about it.. I am subsribed to hers and found out that I already had an account, just never finished.. lol.. I think that is a seniour moment...

Any way, I will have to finish my site when I get setup in Kodaik, Alaska..

That is right, Alaska.. I am leaving tomorrow to go and be with my daughter and my three beautiful grand babies.. I have been away from them to long and it totally hurts.. I will be roommates with my Ex, Kelly, my daughters dad..

We have a great apt. new carpet, new paint, Oak cupboards in kitchen and bathroom..It is very modern, and we are on the second floor so we have a view of the water.. My son in law is in the Coast Guard and moves every 4 years..

I will have my cable hooked up on the 13th which is the same day we move in..

How awesome is that!!!

Time to finish my last minute stuff..
